Honors Day
Honors Day recognizes students who demonstrate sustained high academic achievement.
Students must have completed a minimum of 45 collegiate-level credit hours at ABAC to be eligible. Based on overall grade point average (OGPA), students are recognized as follows:
Honor Student: Minimum OGPA of 3.50
Superior Honor Student: Minimum OGPA of 3.70
Distinguished Honor Student: Minimum OGPA of 3.90
The overall grade point average (OGPA) is calculated based on all collegiate-level coursework completed at ABAC at the time of evaluation. Only collegiate-level courses, defined as courses numbered 1000 and above, count toward the 45-credit-hour requirement. Courses numbered below 1000 and learning support courses are excluded.
